The Power of Tower".......For the Environmental Awareness Festival In Dtown New Bedford 10/ 26 - 28/ 12....Made of Recycled Metal, Wood, Plastic, and a little Paint.....come out to the
Connect for Change 2012 event! Most is Free , but for a couple bucks Gets you into the Goods!...I'll Be painting live on this Structure All weekend so come down and say hi!......I have been Coming to this Event for Years and Have Created Large works for it before...My Artist Statment: ......
..........................Why Make an 18ft" Sculpture out of Recycled Metal, Wood, Plastic and some paint for an Sustainability festival?...........Why not? ...The "Power of Tower" Sculpture....is a simple comment on the Importance of Wind energy, utilizing recycled materials as a medium and a little paint....Not to mention the generosity and Facilitation of this project by the Marion Institute, The New Bedford City Dump and some local Supporters..........
....So.......Did you know that buzzards bay has a regular wind pattern?!....Hmmmm.......Let's Make an Investment and lower our electricity bills New Bedford!!......the Local Fairhaven Wind Towers rock!...let's Follow the example!.. and Maybe even include Some Artists In the Mix?....
