Hey all Hope everyone is well 😁 Check out my show at the Ignition space!  Video here Recent Aerosol paintings shown in a contemporary gallery setting.  Most of which have never shown. It started as  Pop up Style exhibition, but has grown to a full 2 month show....I'm loving the new creative space in Fall River MA.  The  Ignition Space   at  Gather  a collaboration in partnership with  The Fall River Arts and culture Coalition  and a few other entities.  Show will be up from December through mid Feb 2024 with a reception 1/12/24 . All paintings are painted with Aerosols on canvas and range in size from 24 x 36" to 36 x 48"  I'd like to note that all works were painted outdoors, live , frequently with an audience.  Good Afternoon, I took part in a recent En plein Air event , Wet Paint Padanaram 2023. The event put on by the Local  Dartmouth Cultural Center  was a success! After multiple postponing due to weather.... 51 Artists set up, including my Lovely lady Artist  Cate Becker  , we all worked on capturing the quaint beauty of Padanaram village, a highlight of the town of Dartmouth MA,  I chose to work with Aerosols on Canvas and paint a local icon The Gulf Hill Dairy Ice Cream stand, casually known as "The Bucket"..the wind was a challenge but I'm happy with results.  Hey, Busy busy, been drawing tho!...check out the recent sketches, I'm loving this 1:2  (12 x 24") toned paper .it has the perfect tooth for the water soluble prismacolor pencils ... As far as subject matter I try to switch it up...we got ...a duck, a couple skaters, some shapes and some flowers...all good things Stay creative!

 Good evening, Autumn is coming and its the best season to skate!.. I gotta pull my skates out ...in the mean time here's a figurative sketch of a skater Getting down on some toned paper with a brush tip marker and some water soluble prismacolor pencils I had a blast. The long rectangular paper made for great framing of the figure.  Vid

 Good day all,  today is a great day, I recently entered a Juried exhibition at the  Deblois Gallery  It's a great water front  contemporary gallery flanked by a brewery and fantastic Mexican restaurant. I submitted 2 recent paintings both Aerosol, one of which, my "Tricycle Warrior" got accepted out of 170 or so submissions. It is a great show and is on display until Oct. There's a great write up on the show  Here The Juror, Micheal Rose, did a great job selecting a variety of fantastic work. My Tricycle Warrior received the Award of Honorable Mention. I haven't won anything in a long time..it feels good. I really like this painting it was a blast to paint..check the  Vid  of some of the painting process.  "Neon Skater"  didn't make the cut. Stay creative!!! ...there's a lil Tricycle Warrior in all of us!..put on your gear and ride!!!!

 Good afternoon, had a great weekend up in Taunton MA, for their annual ArtJam ..a great lil small city arts festival...the Silver city of Taunton never fails to provide interest in the Arts ..always something to look at and do...... Vid I got down in the park on canvas and painted a surfer music.man.....had a blast and made some great connects. 

 Hey all, last night was a great one. It was the reception for New Bedfords Seaport Artwalk 2023 . The Artwalk is an annual event the hosts largescale sculptures made by regional Artists on display in front of New Bedfords working waterfront and ferry to the islands. This year I applied for a mural spot in the show..see seagulls concept  Here , ...but didn't get it......but for the 1st time there is an interior gallery accompaniment to this years show and I was invited to take part.  I showed my skater painting. I love the little nook with the orange chairs ...perfect compliments.  Here's a Vid  and short walk through. It was a great night I had a blast! I look forward to next year and submitting proposals for a sculpture 😁

 good morning, yesterday i painted this Lobster monster Mural concept at New Bedford's Freewall. its a concept i've been working on for a few years and hopefully will be developed into a largescale piece.

 Good evening, ...part of being a Muralist is applying and writing grants for large-scale works. Every city has public art grants.  I recently submitted this one...the style is a lil different for me, but the application called for it. The location is a wall outside of a ferry landing  that tourists and travelers would take to visit the islands of Martha's vineyard, Nantucket, and Cuttyhunk . The concept is a fun and whimsical piece depicting seagulls waiting in line to take the ferry. The idea is to focus the the enthusiasm and anticipation of sea travel.
