Hey all, I'm teaching an aerosol workshop in the spring at the Taunton Arts association... check it.

 These are new confirmed mural sites...one big, one small...the big one 12x 24' the smaller 36 x 48".....now what to paint?...hmmm stay tuned.....

... I recently finished a commission piece that renews my faith in humanity.....I answered an ad on craigslist.com.  an ad for a portrait. I answered, was approved and followed through. Having never met the buyer I was exited to finally meet them. They were super chill and were just as excited as I was...The painting is a portrait of "DJ ROMAN" of Boston MA.....if your in the Boston Area check him out...he spins house.

..The Wings court Maritime Mural was designed for the Connect for Change sustainability conference held annually downtown New Bedford MA , Through the nonprofit ,3rd eye Unlimited, the Marion institute  commissioned my self and 2 other aerosol Artists (evolve and too trick) to paint a maritime themed mural in Wings court...we chose to do a seascape with 3 separate era's of New Bedford's seaport. from left to right..a whaler (Lewis Temple, Inventor of the "Temples Toggle" style harpoon, that became industry standard.), a tall ship on the horizon, and a modern day trawler on the right. under the water the word "Evolve" is painted in stylized lettering) it was a blast to paint and has been a backdrop for the conference as well as music videos, lectures and events. I recently gave an Aerosol Art lesson in my studio...I demonstrated aerosol techniques while informing of things like tools of the trade type stuff. Jen " Vinegar Averie" was a pleasure to work with and caught on quickly. check the picks ...it was a blast! Please see up coming Aerosol Art workshop!          Recently I had the opportunity to paint at a fledgling art event.  This art event is attached to the existing liberty and Union weekend and was a great success. Early Saturday and i'm already hitting the studio hard.....new sketch to warm up for painting! "APPLE"

So I have been hustlin in the studio in preperation for the annual 3rd Eye auction. It'll be at Ugly D-town NB...Sept 8th!....here's a teaser shot of my new series that will be premereing that night!.

Its Auction time again!...My mural painted at the 3rd eye open this past july will be auctioned off with a number of new paintings going up as well! come out and have a fun! Painting list:   "My palette #1" 18 x 24 acrylic/aerosol "My palette #2" 18 x 24 acrylic/aerosol "My palette #3" 18 x 24 acrylic/aerosol Unity concept 16x20 acrylic/ aerosol Statement: For this years open i painted a piece to tie in with the theme......."Unity"   to me it means it simply 2 or more groups getting along . Instead of picturing people with handshakes or globes i chose two natural enemies...cats and dogs.....and painted them with the text.."if they can get along....." with the implied message ...if they can get along?, why can't we all?.... my intentions were to raise simple questions of what unity means on a scale that could be understood in a family friendly environment and enjoyed by all. I realized that a large painting isn't practical for some.....but a lighter that fits in your pocket....yesssah..hand made all original limited run...stickers too!!
