Good evening,
...part of being a Muralist is applying and writing grants for large-scale works. Every city has public art grants.
I recently submitted this one...the style is a lil different for me, but the application called for it. The location is a wall outside of a ferry landing that tourists and travelers would take to visit the islands of Martha's vineyard, Nantucket, and Cuttyhunk .
The concept is a fun and whimsical piece depicting seagulls waiting in line to take the ferry. The idea is to focus the the enthusiasm and anticipation of sea travel.
